Yogi Government’s AI-Sarthi for Farmers

The Uttar Pradesh government has scaled its “AI-Sarthi” program, providing real-time crop advisory to over 5 million farmers via WhatsApp and voice bots. In districts like Gorakhpur and Varanasi, this technology is being used to predict pest attacks and optimize fertilizer use. This “Direct-to-Farmer” tech model is part of CM Yogi Adityanath’s push to double rural income through precision agriculture.
