Tense scenes unfolded in Himachal Pradesh’s popular tourist destination of Kasol after a dispute over parking allegedly escalated into gun violence between a group of tourists and local youths.

According to reports, an argument broke out over parking arrangements, which soon turned into a heated confrontation. During the altercation, a tourist allegedly pulled out a firearm and opened fire at a local youth, triggering panic among bystanders and residents in the area.

Videos circulating on social media captured dramatic moments from the clash, showing chaos at the scene and the alleged brandishing of a pistol during the dispute. The incident drew widespread attention due to the sudden escalation of what reportedly began as a minor disagreement.

Police responded swiftly after receiving information about the incident and launched an operation to track down those involved. Authorities arrested four youths in connection with the case and seized the vehicle allegedly used by the accused.

Investigators also recovered the pistol believed to have been used during the confrontation. Police are examining CCTV footage, eyewitness accounts and other evidence to establish the sequence of events and determine the exact circumstances that led to the firing.

An investigation is currently underway, and authorities are continuing to question the accused as they probe the incident further. No further details about injuries or additional arrests have been released so far.
