The US-Israel war on Iran has entered its 30th day with the conflict escalating across every dimension — military, diplomatic, humanitarian, and economic.

BREAKING: Pentagon Plans Ground Operations

The Pentagon is preparing for weeks of limited ground operations in Iran, potentially including raids on Kharg Island and coastal sites near the Strait of Hormuz, according to United States officials quoted by The Washington Post. The plans, which fall short of a full invasion, could involve raids by special operations and conventional infantry troops.

On Saturday, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said about 3,500 additional soldiers arrived in the Middle East on board the USS Tripoli. The sailors and marines are with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and arrived in the region on March 27.

Houthis Launch SECOND Attack on Israel

On Sunday, Houthi spokesman said the Houthis had carried out a “second military operation” against Israel using cruise missiles and drones and said the Houthis would continue carrying out military operations in the coming days until Israel “ceases its attacks and aggression.”17

Four-Nation Peace Summit in Islamabad

Foreign ministers from Pakistan, Turkiye, Egypt and Saudi Arabia are scheduled to hold talks in Islamabad aimed at ending the US-Israel war on Iran, which has entered its 30th day. The diplomatic efforts come as the conflict has escalated across the Middle East, with Yemen’s Houthis joining the war by firing missiles at Israel.18

Iran Threatens Universities in Retaliation

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it will target American and Israeli-affiliated universities in the Middle East in retaliation for recent attacks on Iranian higher education centres. The president of the American University of Beirut said the university will be operating fully remotely tomorrow and Tuesday “out of an abundance of caution.”19

Air Raid Sirens Across the Gulf

Air raid sirens were activated in several Middle Eastern countries early Sunday. Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior urged citizens to take shelter and “remain calm” as it sounded its alarm. Kuwait News Agency reported that the Ministry of Defense was responding to what it described as “hostile missile and drone attacks.”12
