The Indian government has asked ​sugar mills to ensure ‌adequate supplies during the upcoming festival ​season, with domestic ​mills seeking to import ⁠nearly 800,000 tons ​of duty-free raw ​sugar, an official from the food ministry said ​on Thursday.
