June 30 (NewsForYou) – Boeing (BA.N), said โon Tuesday that an unplanned โIT outage affected some of its computer systems and applications.
The outage “significantly disrupted” โthe aerospace firm’s commercial โand military production, the Air Current โ reported, citing people familiar with โthe issues.
Boeing did not comment โon the report, but said, “The cause of the outage is understood – we have โno reason to believe it โis due to a cyberattack – and our โIT โ team is working to bring all systems back online.”
The company was able to complete some deliveries โon the โlast day โ of the quarter, but final commercial jet inspections โand paperwork largely ground โto โ a halt due to the disruption, the Air Current said.
