Seven Maoists, including three women, were eliminated in a fierce encounter with police in Andhra Pradesh’s Maredumilli region. The operation, continuing from Tuesday, resulted in the death of key leader Meturi Jokha Rao, alias Shankar, who was reportedly in charge of the Andhra Odisha Border region and specialized in technical aspects of arms and communication.
