Hundreds of candidates, who turned up at the D.G. Vaishnav  College at Chennai’s Arumbakkam, were not allowed to write the test, as their names did not figure in the list. They staged a protest on EVR Periyar Salai. As the protests intensified, TNPSC  cancelled the exam all over the State and said a fresh date would be announced soon
