A sessions court granted bail to Prafulla Lodha, an associate of a senior BJP leader, in a 2025 alleged rape case. The court cited a 50-day FIR delay and the complainant booking the hotel room herself. Lodha, also facing other rape charges, was released on stringent conditions after the charge-sheet was filed.
