Huntingdon College junior football player James E. Owens Jr., 20, died in a fatal road crash on November 10, 2025, in Chilton County, Alabama. Owens Jr., a defensive lineman from Tuscaloosa, was driving a Chevrolet Camaro that collided with a Toyota Tundra. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
